Qualification - Customer Service.
Customer Services help customers with complaints and questions and provides customers with information about products and services. The role may also involve a sales element, taking orders and processing returns. You may be working in a team or need to develop customer service skills to compliment an existing role.
As your role progresses you may be responsible for leading your own Customer Service Team.
This will involve keeping the team motivated and gathering and analysing customer feedback to identify improvements in service levels.
Duration 13 months.
Qualification - Business Administration.
Administrators need a broad range of skills to work efficiently and to help increase business productivity. Skills shortages identified by organisations include a lack of office and administration skills, customer-handling skills, technical and practical skills, oral communication skills and IT skills, all of which are covered within the Business Administration Apprenticeship framework. This apprenticeship builds on the success of its predecessor, by using employer led, up to date, flexible qualifications which meet the changing skills needs of employers. It builds in softer-skills such as communication, team working, interpersonal skills and the ability to reflect on their learning.
Level 3 apprentices may work in roles such as administration executives/officers, administration team leaders, personal assistants and secretaries, including legal or medical secretaries.
Duration 15 months.
Qualification - Management.
The Level 3 has been developed to support those working as first line managers, section managers, assistant managers, trainee managers, senior supervisors, junior non-commissioned officers (armed forces) and those working in a range of other management positions.
Duration 17 months.
Qualification - Hospitality Supervision and Leadership
The level 3 apprenticeship also enables progression from the level 2 Hospitality & Catering apprenticeships.
Duration 18 months.
Qualification - Health and Social Care.
This framework provides the only apprenticeship for people employed in delivering adult social care and social care to children and their families in Wales. It may also be suitable for some workers in the health sector who are not working in highly specialist or clinical areas. It provides opportunities for staff to qualify within the health and social care sectors to undertake e.g. care assistant, social care worker,
residential care worker, health care assistant and health care support worker jobs.
Staff working in health or social care sectors can move between the sectors, by using appropriate continuing professional development and by obtaining additional professional development units relevant to the new role.
Duration 14-24 months.
Qualification - CCPLD – Children’s Care, Play and Learning Development.
The Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development Apprenticeship Framework is for people who work with children (and their families) in settings or services where the main purpose is care, learning and development through play e.g. nurseries, daycare, creches, childminders and Cylchoedd Meithrin (Welsh medium nurseries). It is suitable for people wishing to join the sector and for people already working in it who wish to develop their knowledge and skills and become occupationally competent. Level 3 Apprenticeship confirms competence for workers who operate more autonomously, undertaking curriculum planning, activity planning and some aspects of staff supervision.
Duration 12 – 20 months.
