Qualification - Business Administration.
Administrators need a broad range of skills to work efficiently and to help increase business productivity. Skills shortages identified by organisations include a lack of office and administration skills, customer-handling skills, technical and practical skills, oral communication skills and IT skills, all of which are covered within the Business Administration Apprenticeship framework. This apprenticeship builds on the success of its predecessor, by using employer led, up to date, flexible qualifications which meet the changing skills needs of employers. It builds in softer-skills such as communication, team working, interpersonal skills and the ability to reflect on their learning.
Level 4 apprentices may work in roles such as office manager, administration team leader, personal assistant or business development executive.
Duration 24 months.
Qualification - Management.
The Level 4 Management Higher Apprenticeship and the Management & Leadership Higher Apprenticeship have been developed to support those working as managers, senior managers, head of department, directors and those working in a range of other senior management positions
Duration 18 months.
Qualification - Hospitality Management.
This Higher Apprenticeship framework at Level 4 has been developed to meet the higher-level skills needs of the Hospitality Industry and act as a progression route for apprentices undertaking the Hospitality and Catering, Craft Cuisine and Licenced Hospitality Apprenticeships. Higher Apprentices will train in a range of hospitality management job roles, such as deputy general manager, front office manager, operations or unit manager.
Duration 24 months.
Qualification - Information, Advice and Guidance
This framework has been developed to support those who are employed in the information, advice and guidance related services sector in Wales.
It is aimed at those working with a range of clients and agencies, including but not limited to support agencies and other social support organisations.
The framework will provide individuals with the skills they need to deliver high quality information, advice and/or guidance related services (dependent on role), help them develop in their role, and support progression into supervisory, management and/or higher professional roles.
Duration 18 months.
