Skill Build
The Skill Build training programme has been designed to help unemployed teenagers and adults to improve their skills and experience to help them into employment.
The lenght of the programme is designed to help meet your personal goals and achievements and aims to improve your recent work experience and help you to gain an employer reference. Our main areas of expertise are within retail, customer service and warehousing, however we do offer help in many other different occupational areas.
Jobforce Wales has a long history of working in the employment training field and has successfully helped many people return to work. In addition to organising work experience we are also able to give help and advice to support you in your efforts to find the right job.
We can also help you to develop an effective C.V. and give you effective interview strategies that will improve your confidence and your chances of getting that job.
Work Prep
What is Work Prep and can I take part ?
Work Preparation is a Government programme tailored to suit your needs, it usually involves doing short unpaid work experience with a local employer and usually lasts between 6 and 13 weeks (On average 30 days however it is flexible to meet the objectives of your action plan).
You can stay on your existing benefits whilst on the programme and usually any expenses you have incurred (such as travel costs) will be repaid.
Work Preparation can help you get ready for work. We will work out what you need from the programme, and we can offer you a range of support to help you find and stay in work.
At the end of the period we will provide you with a full report and discuss and design with you a development and action plan for your future needs.
